Darren Boyde is the Founder and Principal of Catalyst Development Advisory Limited, providing owner-side development advisory and project leadership for complex capital projects across Alberta.
With deep experience in large-scale development, governance oversight, and financial structuring, Darren works directly with boards, executive teams, and project stakeholders to guide projects from early feasibility through design and construction delivery. His focus is disciplined execution — aligning strategy, funding, risk management, and stakeholder relationships to achieve successful outcomes.

Darren’s advisory work is grounded in a structured development process that integrates:
- Feasibility and capital planning
- Grant strategy and funding alignment
- Financial modeling and capital stack structuring
- Owner’s equipment planning and integration
- Procurement and contract strategy
- Construction oversight and risk governance
He has supported organizations undertaking significant capital developments, particularly within the not-for-profit and continuing care sectors. His experience includes navigating complex funding environments, managing multi-party stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects remain aligned with operational realities and governance expectations.
As an Owner’s Project Representative, Darren serves as an extension of the client organization — protecting their interests, maintaining delivery discipline, and ensuring transparency across cost, schedule, and risk.
